Welcome to Thistle Hill!
Where life happens….
Hello and welcome to my small space on the wonderful world web. My name is Amanda.
Writing has always been a passion of mine. It has helped me sift through life. I have been able to sort out and piece together solutions to all the ups, downs, twists and turns that life has thrown. I’m hopeful that through this blog I will be able to connect with others.
Thank you for stopping by.
I am a mom to 3 incredible boys, a wife, writer, virtual assistant and a business owner.
Thistle Hill is a name I have heard since I was young. My mom used it to describe the house where we lived. It was full of love, hard work, God, and real people who I call my family. My childhood home was filled with people who were there for me. Wonderful memories were made… life changing events also took place. Members of my family got sick, prejudices were dealt, educations were challenged, vacations were taken, mistakes were made… and so were a lot of birthday cakes! I learned that it wasn’t about the cards you were dealt in life, it was about how you held those cards that counted. Thistle Hill is a platform I want to use to discuss those cards.
You are welcome to join in the conversation. I would love to hear from you. You can visit our Facebook Page, leave a comment on one of the Thistle Hill Blog Posts, or reach out to me directly by email.
